On arrival, you will be directed to a parking area. You have options to stay in your vehicle, or you may bring lawn chairs and sit in designated areas. We ask that children stay with their family. You might want to bring insect repellant.

There are no restroom facilities available.

Sound for the music and preaching will be amplified from the stage.

Before the Sunday service, children will be sent coloring pages and a video lesson they can watch on their mobile device.

A song sheet will also be sent to the church family before Sunday’s service.

An offering receptacle will be available at the end of the service.

This is our first chance to meet together as a church since March 15. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please check the church website and watch for an email update on Friday and Saturday for any changes and confirmation of Sunday’s plans. We are watching the weather and the condition of the ground on the property.

Important Announcement

Image result for coronavirus

All worship services and activities at Pittsboro Baptist Church are cancelled indefinitely. The church leadership makes this decision with respect for the cautions and restrictions issued by state and federal authorities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Services will resume when reasonably possible. Please watch for future announcements.

Pastor Allan will record a weekly sermon on Saturday. The audio message along with the outline will be posted here on the church’s website by Sunday morning. Your family and friends can listen to the Bible teaching at a time that is most convenient.

Nothing about this worldwide pandemic escapes the grace, mercy and purpose of God. As His followers, we remain confident in His perfect plan and look forward to the ways He will use us to demonstrate His glory to the world. We are His people.

We must use this time to pray for each other and discover new ways to serve others in need. If you or anyone you know has a need, please do not hesitate to let us know. The church office maintains office hours of 9am-1pm. If you want to come to the church building to pray, we make that available to you. Let’s commit ourselves to the truths of Matthew 22:36-40.

We must also use this time to grow spiritually. As the body of Christ, we must feed on His Word and discover His plan for our lives.

Please follow these guidelines issued by the President of the United States:

IF YOU FEEL SICK, stay home. Do not go to work. Contact your medical provider.

IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE SICK, keep them at home. Contact your medical provider.

IF SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS TESTED POSITIVE for the coronavirus, keep the entire household at home. Contact your medical provider.

IF YOU ARE AN OLDER PERSON, stay home and away from other people.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WITH A SERIOUS UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITION that can put you at increased risk, stay home and away from other people.

Stay safe, healthy and faithful.

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever.  Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21, NASB
